Ideal candidate would have 5-6 years' experience in Internal Medicine Practice and proficient with EMR use. The job responsibilities listed below are not intended to be a complete list for the position. Medical Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:

Take detailed medical histories within EMR. Medication reconciliation Maintain patient records in the EMR Referrals and all types of Authorizations. Insurance verification. Perform EKGs Administer injections Respond to electronic medication refills requests Call patients with test results. Scheduling appointments. Other duties as assigned.

Phlebotomy Medication Prior Authorizations Medical Assistant Qualifications:

5-6 years' experience preferred Strong clinical skills Excellent customer service skills Knowledge of computers Good multi-tasking skills Ability to function as a team member No weekends References from previous employers
