We provide a non-surgical, non-pharmacological treatments for sleep disorders and oral-facial pain. We offer treatment in a medical model and bill medical insurance on behalf of our patients. Exciting career opportunity for a highly organized, high energy and patient-centric individual in our practice located in the Peoria, IL, area. As a Business Assistant, you will work closely with our patients and our front office team, to make sure that our patients experience exceptional care and guidance through the treatment process. Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs) Ensure that all patients receive the services that they need as quickly as possible by helping to obtain documentation needed from referring providers, both in our local location, and in our remote practices. Obtain and prepare basic medical history information by phone, and discuss next step needs with patients near and far. Ensure that no patient falls through the cracks by using our EMR and Google Workspace systems. Help our team to maintain exemplary recordkeeping and communication practices. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to build a rapport with patients and referring providers, have a caring and kind nature towards our patients both by phone and in person to help answer any questions that they may have. They will also have a keen attention to detail. Your positive teamwork will also be responsible for ensuring smooth patient flow resulting in a positive patient experience that invites patient and physician referrals.
