We love to grow our employees. Overview We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical assisting within a very busy clinic. This role involves providing exceptional patient care, supporting medical staff with administrative and clinical tasks, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in medical documentation, vital signs collection, EHR management, and basic pharmacology. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, history taking, and vital signs measurement to ensure accurate documentation. Prepare examination rooms and assist during procedures with skills in phlebotomy, medication administration, and wound care as needed. Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring precise medical documentation and coding such as ICD codes. Support patient education by explaining procedures, medication instructions, and post-visit care plans clearly and compassionately. Perform clinical tasks including specimen collection, sterilization procedures, and basic life support (BLS) certification adherence. Maintain organized medical records while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations such as HIPAA. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across specialties like dermatology, emergency medicine, geriatrics, and internal medicine to optimize patient outcomes. Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant credential from an accredited program is required. Prior experience in medical office settings with exposure to Podiatry is highly desirable. Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR/EHR systems) we currently use Modernized Medicine and medical documentation practices. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, ICD coding, MIPS and medical records management. Ability to perform phlebotomy and adhering to safety protocols. Strong patient service skills with a focus on compassionate communication and cultural sensitivity. Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
