In this role, you will perform core clinical assistant duties while receiving specialized, hands-on training to operate a C-Arm X-ray machine under direct physician supervision during routine procedures. Friday:

8:30 AM - 2:30

PM Note:

Shift start/end times may occasionally vary based on the daily procedure schedule. No weekends, nights, or major holidays Location Kansas City, MO 64132 (Onsite) Key Responsibilities Assist physician during minor fluoroscopy procedures (e.g., fistulograms, thrombectomies, catheter insertions/exchanges). Position and operate the C-Arm X-ray equipment under the direct supervision of the attending physician (full equipment training provided). Manage imaging display screens, adjust requested settings, and print required procedure images for patient charts. Send saved procedure images to the PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) system. Assist with patient transfers to and from procedure tables. Maintain routine clinical tasks including taking vitals, lab preparation, and basic patient care support. Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations, patient privacy standards, and clinic safety policies.

Qualifications Experience:

3+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting required.

Certification:

CMA or RMA certification preferred.

Skills:

Strong patient care skills (vitals, lab prep, basic testing) and physical ability to assist patients with transfer.

Attributes:

Excellent communication, strong team orientation, and high attention to detail. Prior C-Arm or PACS experience is a bonus, but comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided. Work Attire Solid scrubs required.
