We are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) who is dependable, compassionate, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of the patients we serve. Position Summary The Certified Medical Assistant plays an important role in supporting both our clinical team and patients. This position works closely with healthcare providers to ensure patients receive excellent care while helping maintain an efficient and welcoming clinic environment. Key Responsibilities Obtain and document patient vital signs, weight, medical history, and other clinical information. Prepare exam rooms and ensure they are clean, stocked, and ready for patients. Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and procedures. Prepare patients for visits and provide appropriate instructions as directed by the provider. Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record (EHR). Support patient flow and communicate effectively with providers and other members of the healthcare team. Assist with scheduling, insurance verification, check-in/check-out, phones, and other front-office duties as needed. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements. Follow all clinic policies, procedures, safety standards, and infection-control practices. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment. Provide compassionate and respectful service to every patient. Work collaboratively with team members to support the overall mission of One Cross Community Health. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. CPR certification preferred. Minimum of 1 year of medical office or clinical experience preferred. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Dependable, professional, and committed to providing exceptional patient care. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
