Job Description

Healthcare South is seeking two highly professional, efficient and dedicated Certified Medical Assistants to join our busy Cohasset Pediatrics practice. These positions are full time, 32 hours per week with occasional holiday and weekend rotation .
Key Responsibilities:
Assist providers with providing care to pediatrics patients including assessment, treatment, care planning and medical care evaluation. Room patients and obtain vital signs and medical histories Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during visits Administer injections, vaccines, and perform basic clinical procedures Manage patient flow, scheduling, and follow-up Document accurately in Epic (strongly preferred) Send/receive patient medical records, obtain lab/X-ray reports, and hospital notes
Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required 1+ year of experience in a clinical setting preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) - EPIC strongly preferred Education / Certifications High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) required. Medical assistant diploma from an accredited vocational institution, or a community college course in medical assisting preferred.
CMA / RMA

Pay:
$24.00 - $26.00 per hour
