Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Certified Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures, including minor surgical procedures. Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and ensuring comfort throughout their visit. Perform clinical tasks such as blood sampling, administering injections, and managing basic life support (BLS) and CPR when necessary. Maintain accurate medical documentation and manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR management) with precision and confidentiality. Support patient education initiatives by providing health information and ensuring understanding of treatment plans. Handle manual handling tasks safely when moving or positioning patients or medical equipment. Report patient conditions clearly to the healthcare team, ensuring accurate communication of clinical observations. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards related to medical documentation, infection control, and patient safety. Experience Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting. Critical care experience is highly desirable to effectively support patients with complex needs. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for efficient electronic health records management. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to various specialties. Hands-on experience with blood sampling techniques and patient condition reporting. Strong client communication skills to provide excellent patient service and education. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR is required; additional certifications related to medical documentation or nursing are advantageous.
