Job Description

Job Overview Tired of the large healthcare practice/hospital? This is a rare opportunity to join a very small, friendly, personalized, concierge style Family Practice as a Medical Assistant. Your energy and dedication will directly impact patient care and clinic efficiency. In this vital role, you will receive on the job training and provide comprehensive support to patients, ensuring smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient experiences. Your expertise in venipuncture, administrative support, and patient interaction will help foster a welcoming environment that promotes health and well-being. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including recording vital signs and updating medical histories using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are ready for patient visits. Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, urinalysis, EKG, and spirometry (will train). Manage medical documentation accurately. Support patient service activities by answering questions, providing instructions, and ensuring a positive experience during visits. Maintain compliance with HIPPA and safety standards while managing medical office operations efficiently. Qualifications (PREFERRED

BUT WILL TRAIN

) Basic experience in a medical office setting (may be a CNA or an MA willing to learn phlebotomy and basic MA skills). Hands-on experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems or Electronic Medical Records (EMR) management (We use Athena). Experience/comfort working with diverse clientele. Excellent patient/customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately while managing medical documentation accurately.
