In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient centered medical care and support Primary Care clinical operations in an outpatient setting. Your energetic approach will help streamline patient interactions, ensure accurate medical documentation, and maintain efficient office workflows. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting vital signs and updating medical histories using EPIC -Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are ready for patient visits Perform basic clinical procedures such as phlebotomy (blood draws), medication administration under supervision Support patient service efforts by answering questions, providing education on treatments, and ensuring comfort throughout visits Document medical information accurately in medical records. Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance details, maintaining medical documentation and other adminsitrative duties as needed. Facilitate laboratory procedures like specimen collection and processing in compliance with safety standards Support Value Based care and special projecfts as directed. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years experience as a Medical Assistant. Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management. Experience in EPIC preferred. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent required to ensure patient safety during clinical procedures preferred. Strong understanding of Primary Care, Value Based and PCMH practices preferred Familiarity with phlebotomy techniques, medication administration and medical documentation standards Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support accurate patient assessments and clinical procedures Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced outpatient clinic. Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
