What You Will Do Greet and escort patients to exam rooms, ensuring a welcoming environment. Obtain and record accurate medical histories and vital signs. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, assisting providers as needed. Perform clinical tasks to support ambulatory patient care. Utilize EPIC (Electronic Medical Record) to maintain patient documentation. What You Will Need Required Qualifications High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with a 160-hour clinical externship, or equivalent experience as outlined in the job description. Current BLS-C certification upon hire or by the end of orientation. Preferred Qualifications Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills. EPIC (Electronic Medical Record) experience. OR Graduate from a Medical Assistant program without completion of a clinical externship but with a minimum one-year experience in clinical medical assisting within the past five (5) years. OR Current Professionally Recognized Medical Assistant Certification with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in clinical medical assisting. OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). OR Licensed Paramedic/Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with at least one-year clinical experience in clinical medical setting within the past five (5) years. OR Military trained medical personnel with at least one-year clinical experience in clinical medical setting within the past five (5) years.
