Role Overview As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality and compassionate care to patients. Working under the supervision of providers and nursing leadership, you will perform a variety of administrative and clinical tasks to support patient care, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every individual. What You Will Do Greet and escort patients to exam rooms, ensuring a welcoming environment. Obtain and record accurate medical histories and vital signs. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, assisting providers as needed. Perform clinical tasks to support ambulatory patient care. Utilize problem-solving skills to address patient needs and ensure efficient workflows. What You Will Need Required Qualifications High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160-hour minimum), or equivalent experience as outlined in the job description. Current BLS-C certification upon hire or successful completion by the end of orientation. Preferred Qualifications Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills. EPIC (Electronic Medical Record) experience.
