YOON DERMATOLOGY MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Company Overview Yoon Dermatology is a privately owned Dermatology and Mohs Surgery practice. Mohs Surgeon, Dr. Jae Yoon, has been in practice over 20 years and performed over 20,000 surgical procedures related to skin cancer. Dr. Yoon is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and American College of Mohs Surgery. Yoon Dermatology currently services several locations in Missouri including, Wentzville, Des Peres, and our newest location in Washington, MO. Job Overview Yoon Dermatology is seeking medical assistants who can provide compassionate and quality care for patients. Candidates should be self-motivated individuals able to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. The candidates we are looking for will need the flexibility to travel to and work out of both Washington, MO and Wentzville, MO locations as required for coverage and training. Medical Assistant Responsibilities Assist Provider with dermatology examinations and procedures Assist Surgeon with Mohs, Excision, and Reconstruction surgeries Communicate healthcare details and instructions to patients Document exams/surgeries using electronic medical records system Prep and sanitize rooms between patient visits Sterilize and package instruments Answer phones, call out to patients, schedule appointments Acquire prior-authorizations for medications and treatments Stock inventory and perform general maintenance on clinic equipment Coordinate with other departments to maximize workflow efficiencies Perform all duties within HIPAA regulations Other Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness of nurse station and other clinic areas Any additional tasks related to clinic productivity and wellness of operations Required Qualifications/Skills MA, Surgical Tech, LPN certification OR minimum 1 year experience in a medical office environment preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with multi-line phone systems Proficient with Microsoft applications Previous experience with EMR systems a plus, but not required Benefits (Full Time Employees) Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance AD&D Insurance Short Term Disability Paid Time Off Holiday Pay 401k
