Schedule:

Full-Time | Four 9-hour shifts per week | 2:30 PM-10:00 PM Bring your compassion, clinical skills, and commitment to patient care to Logan Health's Pulmonary team. At Logan Health, our Pulmonary team provides specialized care for patients with a wide range of respiratory and lung conditions. We are seeking a Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant to join our collaborative, patient-focused specialty clinic. Why You'll Love This Role Meaningful Patient Connections - Support patients managing a variety of pulmonary and respiratory conditions while helping create a welcoming, compassionate clinic experience. Collaborative Care Team - Work alongside physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and clinical staff in a team-focused specialty care environment. Purposeful Work - Play an important role in supporting patients through evaluations, treatments, follow-up care, and ongoing management of their respiratory health. Professional Growth - Build your clinical skills and healthcare knowledge while gaining experience in a specialized pulmonary care setting. What You'll Be Doing Greet, room, and prepare patients for examinations and treatments, including obtaining medical histories and vital signs. Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Perform competency-validated clinical tasks and accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record. Coordinate patient care activities including referrals, diagnostic testing, prior authorizations, scheduling, and follow-up appointments. Support daily clinic operations by maintaining exam rooms, equipment, and supplies while assisting with patient calls and portal communications.

Qualifications Preferred:

Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through an accredited certifying organization. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through an accredited certifying organization. Preferred Experience One (1) year of experience in a medical practice setting preferred. Medical office experience and medical terminology training preferred. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, basic laboratory values, pharmacology, infection control practices, and HIPAA requirements preferred. Professional Qualifications Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Commitment to professionalism, patient confidentiality, and exceptional patient care. Ability to act with integrity, kindness, and empathy. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn additional software systems as needed.

Shift:

Day Shift - 10 Hours (United States of America)

Schedule:

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
