Full-Time , On site Payrate - As per market rate Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/CCMA/RMA) to join a busy Primary Care practice. In this full-time role, you will assist physicians and advanced practice providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while ensuring efficient clinical operations. Key Responsibilities Assist physicians and providers during patient examinations and treatments. Obtain and document patient histories, vital signs, height, weight, and other clinical information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Prepare examination rooms and ensure medical instruments and supplies are ready for patient care. Perform EKGs, venipuncture, injections, ear lavage, routine laboratory testing, and other clinical procedures within scope of practice. Schedule diagnostic tests and coordinate patient appointments as needed. Provide tele-triage support by collecting patient information and communicating with providers. Demonstrate sound judgment in addressing patient questions, concerns, and complaints. Process referrals and obtain insurance pre-authorizations. Deliver age-appropriate care while maintaining patient comfort and safety. Maintain accurate patient documentation and medical records. Participate in staff meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and other departmental activities. Perform additional clinical and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program. Current Certified or Registered Medical Assistant credential (CMA, CCMA, or RMA). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. One (1) to two (2) years of Medical Assistant experience preferred.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
