Job Description

Hiring a part time medical assistant helping with managing day to day operations of a traditional medical office and help with back office work Opportunity to learn to assist endoscopies and office based procedures 8 hours per day four to five days a week Taking patients' vitals, booking surgeries, and checking in patients More details on work will be given in interview.
Practice has multiple offices:
Princeton and Edison Exact locations will be given in interview
Responsibilities:
Assisting with:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of a medical office or practice
  • Manage and coordinate staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Develop and implement office policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Monitor and manage the financial aspects of the practice, including billing, insurance claims, and budgeting
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure quality patient care and optimal workflow
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in healthcare regulations
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field (preferred)
  • Proven experience in medical office or practice management
  • Strong knowledge of managed care systems and insurance billing processes
  • Proficient in using practice management software
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
