We currently operate three locations (Short Hills, NJ, and Roslyn and Woodbury on Long Island) with a fourth location opening in Fall 2026. Our practice is built on longer visits, direct access to physicians, and an exceptional patient and family experience. Position Summary We are seeking a part-time Medical Assistant with pediatric experience for our Short Hills, NJ office. You will work closely with our physicians and clinical team to deliver warm, efficient, family-centered care in a boutique practice environment where every patient interaction matters.
Schedule:
Part-time, 12 to 14 hours per week on set days Wednesdays, 12:00 pm to 6:30 pm Alternating Fridays (8:00 am to 3:00 pm) and weekends (Saturday 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, Sunday 9:00 am to 12:00 pm) Opportunity to pick up additional hours on an as needed basis Salary range: $20.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience and training Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs, height/weight, and growth measurements for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults Document patient histories, chief complaints, and medications accurately in the EMR Assist physicians during exams and in-office procedures Administer vaccines per physician orders and maintain accurate immunization records Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection/processing Perform point-of-care testing (e.g., rapid strep, flu, COVID, urinalysis, vision/hearing screens) Perform laboratory quality control (QC) and proficiency testing Maintain exam rooms: stocking, cleaning, and instrument sterilization Manage vaccine inventory, refrigerator temperature logs, and supply ordering support Answer phones, assist with scheduling, and communicate with families with the courtesy and responsiveness expected of a concierge practice Support front-office and administrative tasks as needed in a small-team environment Requirements Pediatric experience is
REQUIRED
