Fluency is Spanish is required and experienced with AdvancedMD is preferred. Prior work experience as a medical receptionist is required. Coding and Billing Specialist is responsible for accurately coding and billing cardiology office and hospital charges. Verify medical information with doctor, technicians and staff. Perform data entry of charges. Experience with posting EOBs and patient payments as well as working denied claims. Provide assistance to front staff regarding verifying insurance eligibility, obtaining referrals and authorizations. Fluency is Spanish is required and experienced with AdvancedMD is preferred.
