This vital role combines front-office responsibilities with clinical support, ensuring seamless patient experiences and efficient clinic operations. You will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional service while supporting medical staff with essential clinical tasks. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify appointments, and manage check-in/check-out procedures with enthusiasm and professionalism. Collect patient information, update medical records, and handle intake processes accurately using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. Measure vital signs, perform basic phlebotomy, and assist with procedures such as medication administration under supervision. Support clinical staff by preparing examination rooms, sterilizing equipment, and managing medical supplies inventory. Assist with documentation of medical histories, symptoms, and treatment plans using precise medical terminology and thorough medical documentation practices. Schedule appointments, follow-up visits, and coordinate referrals efficiently to optimize clinic flow. Maintain confidentiality of patient information while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital policies. Skills Strong knowledge of dermatology, internal medicine, urgent care, hospital medicine, and outpatient clinic environments. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical records management and documentation. Experience with phlebotomy, vital signs collection, ICD coding, and basic pharmacology principles. Excellent patient service skills with a focus on compassionate care and effective communication. Familiarity with medical assisting techniques including medication administration and physiology knowledge. Ability to work efficiently in inpatient settings such as Level I Trauma Centers or PICU environments; hospital experience is highly valued. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to support accurate clinical documentation and patient interactions.
