Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support Duties:

Answer calls, schedule appointments, and coordinate patient flow within the medical office. Manage the check-in and check-out process for patients. Handle copays and balance dues efficiently. Maintain strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Clinical Support Duties:

Warmly greet patients and visitors. Collect patient information, document medical histories, and update patient records in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, weight) and assist patients in preparing for examinations or procedures. Prepare, restock, and sanitize examination rooms and other patient care areas.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Certified Medical Assistant is a plus At least one year of experience in medical office; pediatrics experience highly preferred. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures. Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems; experience with AthenaOne is a bonus.

Compensation Range:

$20ph
