The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical environment. This position requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to supporting both patients and healthcare professionals. This position is ideal for a college student or someone that is interested in learning about Plastic Surgery. Days Tuesdays from 7:45am to 10:30am in the Massapequa location and Thursdays from 10:30am to 5:30pm in Huntington. The first Thursday of the month we typically see patients until 6:30pm-7:00pm. Hours can vary based on the surgical schedule. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Record vital signs and medical histories accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment. Manage patient records, including scheduling appointments and maintaining confidentiality. Assisting with in-office procedures (e.g. injections, minor excisions, scar treatments) and aesthetic consultations. Prepping, maintaining, and stocking treatment rooms. Providing patients with pre-operative and post-operative instructions. Circulating during surgeries such as breast augmentation, liposuction, and facelifts—with potential to scrub in over time. Managing patient flow, scribing, and EMR documentation. Assisting with practice development initiatives, including marketing, photography, and social media content. Skills Professional, kind, and confident in patient-facing roles. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in patient care documentation. Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members. A commitment to providing compassionate care while adhering to safety protocols.
