Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in patient care, and medical documentation, with a focus on delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced medical environment. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will support physicians and healthcare professionals by performing clinical and administrative tasks that ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care. Your expertise in medical terminology, EMR/EHR management, and patient communication will be vital to our mission of providing comprehensive healthcare services. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Collect Oral Drug screens and give medication injections with precision and adherence to safety protocols. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including recording patient histories, reporting patient conditions, and updating electronic health records (EHR). Provide health education to patients regarding treatment plans, medication instructions, and preventive care strategies. Support clinic operations by managing appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out processes, and maintaining organized medical records. Ensure compliance with infection control standards, manual handling protocols, and safety regulations such as Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certifications. Communicate effectively with patients to address inquiries, explain procedures, and foster a welcoming environment for diverse populations. Collaborate with medical staff on patient condition reporting and assist in acute care situations when necessary. Skills Proven experience in clinical settings such as out patient offices. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation practices, and EMR/EHR systems management. Critical care experience is highly desirable for managing complex patient needs efficiently. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient service. Familiarity with clinic operations including appointment scheduling, medical record keeping, and diagnostic procedures. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is required; additional certifications related to acute care are advantageous. Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
