Job Description
Hunter Neurology is seeking an experienced full-time medical office assistant Duties will include: rooming patients, answering phones, assisting with scheduling and various duties of the front office, insurance coverage investigations/pre-authorizations, and other assigned tasks as needed. Working hours are flexible with planning but generally Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minutes breaks (or similar hours). Compensation is based on experience but is competitive with the industry. Employment model is a "flexible time off" with planning and agreement between employee and employer. Hunter Neurology offers a retirement plan with contribution of 3% of wages full benefits after 30 days employment to all regular, full-time, employees. Wages are considered to contribute to an employee's needs for healthcare and this small company has no healthcare plan.
