Part-Time Medical Assistant About the Position Head to Toe Family Healthcare is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and professional Part-Time Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in Silsbee, TX. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of medical assistant experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing quality, patient-centered care. The Medical Assistant will support both clinical and front-office operations while helping create a welcoming and efficient experience for every patient. Responsibilities
Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs, medical histories, and medication information
Prepare examination rooms and assist providers with patient care
Administer injections as directed and within scope of practice
Collect, prepare, and process laboratory specimens
Perform basic clinical and laboratory duties as assigned
Assist with patient scheduling and appointment coordination
Answer incoming phone calls and communicate professionally with patients
Provide front-office support as needed
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Follow infection-control, safety, privacy, and clinical protocols
Maintain a clean, organized, and patient-ready clinical environment
Work collaboratively with providers and other healthcare team members
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
1-2 years of medical assistant experience preferred/required
Medical Assistant certification preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Professional, dependable, and compassionate demeanor
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced medical office
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient confidentiality
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
