General Public•G Job Duties The Certified Medical Assistant provides clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient operations within the healthcare setting. This role is responsible for direct patient care tasks, assisting medical providers, maintaining accurate documentation, and helping coordinate patient services while promoting a safe and patient-centered environment. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential required. Current CPR/BLS certification. Strong understanding of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and documentation standards. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Compassionate, patient-focused, and able to work effectively with diverse populations. Proficient in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and general office technology. Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. Additional Considerations Prior clinical experience in an outpatient, primary care, or specialty setting is preferred. Background Investigation Requirements:

Drug Testing Requirements:
Applicants applying to a designated safety sensitive position are subject to a pre-employment drug screen. Marijuana use is prohibited for positions that require possession of a firearm or a Commercial Driver's License in the performance of official duties such as Corrections Officers, Probation Officers, Tractor Trailer Drivers and others.
