Our practice is focused on providing personalized, high-quality care to patients of all ages. We are intentionally building a small practice where patients always feel welcome, know their healthcare team, and receive care in a warm and supportive environment. Our small team will work together as a cohesive unit, communicate openly, and support one another to create a positive experience for both our patients and each other. This position will involve typical medical assistant responsibilities including but not limited to: Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and facilitate the check-in process with professionalism and efficiency Obtain and record vital signs, patient histories, and current medications using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems Assist provider with clinical tasks such as in house labs, setting up and assisting with procedures, and administering vaccines. Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure all supplies are stocked and organized for daily use Assist provider with patient phone calls and messages, refill requests, paperwork, and prior authorizations. Being a single physician office with a naturally slower pace, the medical assistant will work together with the office manager to share front desk responsibilities, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and checking patients in and out.

Experience :

Minimum 1-year proven experience in a medical office setting as a medical assistant, preferably in family medicine. Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems for efficient electronic health records management Hands-on experience with vital signs collection, in house labs, and administering vaccinations. Familiarity with medical terminology Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient service while managing multiple responsibilities and maintaining professionalism.
