The ideal candidate will possess a combination of administrative skills and clinical knowledge to support the smooth operation of our medical office. As a Medical Assistant, you will primarily be responsible for patient intake, basic clinical procedures, and administrative tasks. Primary Responsibilities Greet patients upon arrival, obtain necessary demographic and insurance information, and assist them in completing required forms. Ensure accuracy and completeness of patient medical records. Organize and maintain electronic and paper filing systems. Record and monitor patients' vital signs accurately. This includes blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature, and respiratory rate. Assist in collecting and labeling specimens for laboratory testing. Ensure proper handling and preparation for transport. Conduct electrocardiogram tests on patients as directed by healthcare providers. Ensure proper calibration and operation of EKG equipment. Provide support to medical staff during examinations, procedures, and treatments. Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments as needed. Perform general office duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing medical records. Assist with insurance verification and billing procedures. Perform additional tasks as needed to support the efficient operation of the medical office. Required Skills and Abilities 1-2 years of minimum experience preferred but not required. High school diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in both Korean and English languages, both written and verbal, is essential. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and colleagues.
