Primary Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for preparing treatment rooms for examination of patients, interviewing patients, measuring vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and recording information in patients' charts. Drawing and collecting blood samples from patients and preparing specimens for laboratory analysis may also be required.

This position may also assist with some off-site occupational medicine clinics and administrative tasks as necessary.

Education, Licenses/Certifications, and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent Medical Assistant certification, preferred Previous experience with occupational medicine, preferred At least 1 year experience working in a medical clinic Familiarity working with EMR systems, preferred Previous experience in customer service Surgical experience, preferred
