Behavioral Health Manager

Job Description

Classification :
Exempt, Full-Time $120,000 - $135,000 per annum for a 40-hour work week; This position is classified as exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and as such, you are not eligible for overtime pay. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise and support a team of LCSWs, ACSWs, therapists, and other behavioral health staff. Conduct regular and annual performance evaluations to provide ongoing training and development. Manage scheduling and staffing to ensure adequate coverage and efficient service delivery. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Ensure the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services, including assessments, treatment planning, and therapy. Monitor and review clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Provide clinical supervision and case consultation to staff as needed. Collaborate with other departments and external partners to integrate behavioral health services into primary care and other settings as needed. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as organizational policies and procedures at all times. Implement quality assurance measures to maintain high standards of care under the direction of the Chief Behavioral Health Officer. Conduct audits and reviews of charts as needed. Provide direct clinical services as needed, managing a caseload of complex cases. Work closely with the Chief Behavioral Health Officer and other leadership to align behavioral health services with organizational goals. Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and external partners to ensure comprehensive care. Oversee the timecards and time off requests of all providers and communicate with Clinical Operations to ensure timely and proper communication. Prepare reports and documentation as required by the organization and regulatory bodies. Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational needs.
Education and Experience:
Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) or equivalent from an accredited institution. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California. Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience in behavioral health. Strong knowledge of behavioral health best practices, clinical supervision, and program development. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Experience in quality assurance and compliance is preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Pay:
$120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
