Aptive Resources, in partnership with Valor Healthcare, is hiring a Physician Director to serve as medical director for the proposed Yreka, CA Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC), overseeing primary care service delivery, pending VA contract award.

Full-Time Contract Primary Responsibilities Oversee and remain responsible for the provision of covered primary care services to assigned and unassigned patients presenting for care at the site Provide on-site supervision of mid-level providers in accordance with applicable state requirements May also be credentialed to function as a Primary Care Provider (PCP) if proposed in a dual capacity (requires separate prescriptive authority authorization) Provide clinical leadership and ensure the site meets VA Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) standards Minimum Qualifications Evidence of education, training, and experience in Internal Medicine or Family Practice Board certified (or board eligible) by the ABMS or BOS in Internal Medicine and/or Family Practice Five (5) years of primary care experience without board certification/eligibility, or two (2) years with board certification/eligibility Must hold a current, full, active, and unrestricted license/certification (as applicable to the position) in California, or otherwise meet VA Qualification Standards for the position. Must successfully complete VA credentialing/privileging review and a background investigation (cleared through OPM via the VA Security and Investigations Center) prior to starting work; PIV credentialing required. Must complete required VA mandatory training and maintain current licensure/certification documentation annually. About Aptive About Aptive.
