About Us We are an established Boca Raton wellness clinic expanding into medical infusion services — administering physician-ordered, insurance-covered infusion therapies for conditions including Alzheimer's disease (anti-amyloid biologics), rheumatoid arthritis, and other autoimmune and neurological conditions. The facility is built, operating, and CLIA-certified for point-of-care labs. We are now completing our AHCA Health Care Clinic License and payer enrollment, and we are looking for the right physician to anchor this next chapter. The Role — Read This Part Carefully This is a statutory Medical Director position under Florida's Health Care Clinic Act (Fla. Stat. §400.9935) — not a name-on-the-wall arrangement. We are specifically looking for a physician who understands and is comfortable with the legal responsibilities of this role: Serving as the designated Medical Director on our AHCA Health Care Clinic License application and license Conducting the systematic reviews of clinic billing required by statute, with quarterly attestations Verifying that all clinical staff maintain active, appropriate Florida licensure Ensuring services are provided in compliance with applicable law and within lawful scope of practice Developing and maintaining clinical protocols for infusion services (pre-infusion screening, administration, infusion-reaction/emergency response, monitoring requirements for specific agents) Providing on-site physician supervision during scheduled infusion days (Medicare direct-supervision requirements) Clinical oversight of nursing staff administering infusions If you have served as an AHCA clinic medical director before, you already know exactly what this entails. Candidates who would need to obtain or establish any of these will not be considered. MD or DO with an active, unencumbered Florida medical license — no restrictions, encumbrances, or disqualifying board actions Active Medicare enrollment (PECOS) in good standing — no opt-out status, no exclusions (OIG/SAM) Current, attested CAQH profile Active malpractice coverage appropriate for a supervisory/medical director role, with certificate of insurance available on request Active DEA registration (Florida) Available to be on site for scheduled infusion days, with scheduling worked out around your existing practice Willing to sign the statutory medical director attestations and perform the required billing reviews from day one Preferred (Not Required) Prior service as a medical director for an AHCA-licensed health care clinic, infusion center, med spa, or comparable Florida facility — you have signed AHCA medical director attestations before and understand the statutory billing-review duties Background in internal medicine, neurology, rheumatology, hematology/oncology, or family medicine Experience with infusion services, biologics, or buy-and-bill operations Familiarity with anti-amyloid therapy requirements (APOE testing, ARIA/MRI monitoring protocols) How to Apply Submit your CV with a brief note on any AHCA-licensed facility where you have served as medical director, or on your relevant clinical supervisory experience.
