Medical Director (MD/DO) Blair County Prison Part-Time | 4 Hours Per Week | Flexible Schedule Looking for a meaningful physician leadership role that fits around your existing practice? Armor Health is seeking a Medical Director to provide clinical leadership for our healthcare program at Blair County Prison. This 4-hour-per-week position offers flexibility while allowing you to make a meaningful impact on the health of an underserved patient population. Responsibilities Provide medical direction and clinical oversight for the facility's healthcare program. Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary staff to ensure high-quality patient care. Review and approve clinical policies, procedures, and treatment protocols. Provide medical consultation and guidance to the clinical team. Support quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance. Oversee documentation and ensure compliance with applicable standards. Qualifications Active Pennsylvania MD or DO license. Board Certified or Board Eligible. Current DEA registration. Current CPR certification. Supervisory experience preferred. Correctional healthcare experience is preferred but not required. Experience with electronic medical records. Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
