Outpatient Therapist - 1099 Independent Contractor As You Are Counseling Services LLC | Lititz, PA As You Are Counseling Services is an established and growing outpatient mental health practice in Lititz, Pennsylvania. We are seeking clinicians interested in contracting with AYA as 1099 independent contractors . This opportunity is best suited for clinicians who value professional autonomy and are comfortable with the responsibility that comes with independent practice. Clinicians determine their own availability and caseload and exercise independent clinical judgment within their scope of practice. AYA provides the infrastructure, billing and administrative support, office space, and established referral presence of a group practice. This is a role for clinicians who value independence but do not want to practice in isolation. Our team includes experienced clinicians with a range of specialties and backgrounds, allowing for collaboration and consultation when needed while respecting each clinician's professional autonomy. We are searching for an individual with strong clinical judgment, professionalism, ethical practice, accountability, and a genuine commitment to quality client care. Clinicians should be comfortable assessing complex clinical situations, making appropriate decisions within their scope of practice, and recognizing when consultation, referral, or a higher level of care is appropriate. Responsibilities Provide outpatient therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families within your areas of competence Independently manage your schedule, availability, and caseload Exercise sound clinical judgment in the assessment and treatment of clients Maintain timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation Recognize and appropriately respond to client safety concerns and changes in clinical need Maintain professional communication with administrative staff and colleagues Practice in accordance with applicable legal, ethical, professional, payer, and practice requirements Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field Active Pennsylvania license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) or actively working toward independent licensure Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills Ability to manage clinical and professional responsibilities with an appropriate level of independence based on licensure and scope of practice Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Commitment to ethical and high-quality client care Working toward independent licensure?
