Job Summary:

The Fractional (part time) Medical Director provides clinical leadership and physician oversight for the California transition-support services program, for UIS (Unsatisfactory Immigration Status). The role establishes clinical standards, supports safe assessment and escalation, advises on continuity of care and post-discharge needs, and provides clinical guidance to nurses, social workers, care coordinators, and other program staff. The Medical Director works with the Program Director and designated partners to ensure that transition activities protect member safety, address clinically significant barriers, and remain within the approved scope of services for the Medi-Cal program. •This position is remote within California•

Responsibilities:
