Job Description
Primary Care Medical Director | Southwestern Vermont Lead a mission-focused primary care team while continuing to care for patients in one of Vermont's most scenic regions. This leadership opportunity offers the ideal blend of clinical practice, mentorship, and strategic influence, all within a schedule intentionally designed to support work-life balance. Practice Overview Fully integrated, whole-person care model with primary care, behavioral health, psychiatry, dental services, and programs addressing food insecurity and social determinants of health Lead and mentor a primary care team that includes nurse practitioners and a strong interdisciplinary support staff Dedicated support staff includes triage nurses, a population health manager, community health worker, referral specialist, and one medical assistant per provider Schedule Three clinical days per week, including 2.5 days of patient care and a half-day for documentation and administrative work Two days dedicated to leadership responsibilities and program development Patient visit structure designed for thoughtful care: 40 minutes for complex visits and 20 minutes for lower acuity visits Compensation & Benefits Earn a base salary between $275,000 and $300,000, with the opportunity to reach a base of $325,000. Competitive compensation package including a generous signing bonus, relocation assistance, and student loan support.
