Job Description

One of our newly acquired facilities is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Radiation Oncologist to join our team. Position Overview :
You will provide comprehensive radiation therapy services to cancer patients in the surrounding area. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals to create personalized treatment plans aimed at improving patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the latest radiation therapies, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to compassionate care.
Responsibilities :
Provide high-quality radiation oncology care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing evaluation. Collaborate with a team of oncologists, surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Utilize advanced radiation therapy techniques such as IMRT, IGRT, and stereotactic radiosurgery. Stay current with advancements in radiation oncology , incorporating new techniques and technologies into practice. Participate in tumor board meetings and case discussions to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients. Educate patients and their families about treatment options, potential side effects, and recovery processes. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards. Support ongoing quality improvement initiatives within the department.
Qualifications :
MD or DO degree with board certification or board eligibility in Radiation Oncology . Valid medical license to practice in the state of West Virginia or the ability to obtain one. Strong clinical and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Experience in the latest radiation oncology technologies and treatment techniques. Compassionate, dedicated, and focused on patient outcomes.
