This energetic leader will ensure seamless clinic functioning, exceptional patient care, and efficient team management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dentalcare management, dental office operations, and team supervision, with a passion for creating a positive environment for both staff and young patients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive operational excellence in a vibrant pediatric dental setting, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Duties Manage the day-to-day operations of the pediatric dental practice, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination Oversee fiscal management tasks such as budgeting, financial reporting, medical billing, and cost control measures Supervise clinical and administrative staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and human resources functions Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as
HIPAA, OSHA
standards, and state dental policies Maintain proficiency in electronic dental records (EHR/EHR systems), patient management software like Dentrix and Eaglesoft, and other EMR systems Monitor clinic performance metrics to optimize patient care quality and operational efficiency Facilitate communication between clinical teams, administrative staff, patients, and external partners to promote a collaborative work environment Implement policies for medical office management, medical records handling, medical terminology accuracy, and medical administrative support Lead initiatives for healthcare practice management improvements including utilization management and managed care strategies Ensure all staff adhere to safety protocols related to dentalcare procedures when necessary Qualifications Proven experience in medical office management within a dental practice setting, preferably pediatric dentistry Strong supervisory experience managing healthcare teams with excellent managerial communication skills Extensive knowledge of healthcare regulation policies including HIPAA compliance and OSHA standards Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft; familiarity with patient management software is essential Demonstrated expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial analysis, and dental billing processes Background in dental terminology, dental records management, and dentalcare practice management best practices Experience with office management tasks such as scheduling, human resources functions, and customer service excellence pediatric dentalcare experience is highly desirable to support complex patient needs when necessary Ability to navigate dental regulation policies confidently while maintaining compliance across all operations Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment Join us as we elevate pediatric dental care through innovative operational leadership!
