Job Summary:
The Church Office Manager will oversee the general administration function and activities of the church office. This position plays a central role in the church in hospitality, information, organization, and communication.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Office and Facility Administration:
  • Oversee general office functions, supplies, and recordkeeping.
  • Greet and assist all visitors with warmth and professionalism.
  • Manage church calendars, building reservations, and maintenance requests.
  • Maintain member records and visitor information in the church database.
Communications/Marketing:
  • Align and unify all church and ministry communications.
  • Partner with ministry leaders to plan and promote church events and programs.
  • Develop and implement digital communication strategies, including social media management, email campaigns, website updates, PPC/SEO, and ad buys.
  • Coordinate digital media collection and organization with volunteers.
Financial Administration:
  • Receive, organize, and route invoices, statements, and work orders.
  • Coordinate with the Treasurer and Financial Secretary to ensure timely processing.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Exercises discernment, discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism in all dealings.
  • Extensive knowledge of office management procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Admin Suite, or related software.
  • Experience with website management and church management software is helpful, such as Wix (website), Breeze (Tithely), Canva (design), and Services (Planning Center).
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree in office administration or related field preferred.
  • At least three years of administrative or office management experience required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Other:
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Reports to: Senior Pastor.
  • Background screening required.
Job Types:

$38,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year
