Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized, experienced Full Time Medical Practice Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our busy medical practices. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth functioning of clinical and administrative activities, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering a positive environment for staff and patients alike. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in multi practitioner practice management, possess a strong background in clinic medical office management, financial oversight, and team supervision, with a passion for delivering exceptional healthcare experiences. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination to optimize efficiency and patient satisfaction. Oversee fiscal management tasks as directed by but may include department budgeting, financial reporting, billing processes, and expense control to ensure financial health of the practice. Supervise medical administrative support staff, nursing personnel, and other team members to foster a collaborative and productive work environment. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, JCAHO standards, and other healthcare policies related to medical records, confidentiality, and safety protocols. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Athena or ECW to maintain accurate patient documentation and streamline clinical workflows. Coordinate with physicians, nursing staff, and specialists to facilitate smooth clinic operations while managing human resources functions including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Strong focus and previous experience quality improvement initiatives focused on utilization management, managed care processes, and enhancing overall patient care delivery. Experience Must have a minimum of 4 years managing a large practice or multiple practices Proven experience in medical office management within a healthcare setting such a large clinic. or multiple practices Demonstrated supervisory experience leading multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments. Strong background in fiscal management including budgeting, financial analysis, and resource allocation. Strong background in Chronic Care Management and Patient Illness Navigation Excellent communication with external team such as insurance agents, community health liaisons, vendors, acute care teams and more. Strength with tracking of patients-visits, acuity, high risk, acute care changes, and compliance Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems Prior exposure to hospital or acute care environments is advantageous for understanding complex healthcare workflows.
