This position requires excellent communication skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to lead teams, drive execution, and hold office leadership accountable to operational and financial goals while keeping 5-star patient care and experience as the top priority. Smile Loft Dental is a growing multi-location dental organization with offices across Maryland, including Affinity, Bowie, Middle River, Glen Burnie, Towne Centre, Shady Grove, Landover, Laurel, Silver Hill, and NP . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced dental operations leader to make a significant impact across multiple practices while helping build scalable systems and processes for continued growth. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-location environment. The ability to analyze performance metrics, identify opportunities, develop solutions, and work closely with office leaders will be essential to success in this role. Qualifications Proven experience in dental office management, regional operations, or multi-location dental management. Strong understanding of dental practice operations, financial performance, collections, treatment plan presentation, and patient experience. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, coach, and hold teams accountable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use KPIs and financial data to drive decisions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple locations, priorities, and teams simultaneously. Strong leadership presence with the ability to build relationships with doctors, office managers, and team members. Experience working with practice management software; CareStack experience is a bonus . Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred . Willingness to travel between Maryland locations as needed. Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day business and operational performance of multiple dental offices across Maryland. Lead office managers and teams toward achieving financial, operational, and patient experience goals. Monitor key performance indicators, including collections, production, new patients, treatment acceptance, scheduling, AR, and other relevant business metrics. Analyze data from practice management software and other reporting tools to identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring improvement. Establish clear expectations and hold office leadership and team members accountable for results. Coach and develop office managers and team members to improve performance, productivity, and patient experience. Drive consistency in operational processes, systems, and best practices across all assigned locations. Partner with doctors and office leadership to identify challenges and implement effective solutions. Support practices in meeting or exceeding monthly and annual financial goals. Identify opportunities to increase production, collections, patient retention, treatment acceptance, and overall practice profitability. Conduct regular office visits, performance reviews, and leadership meetings. Build strong relationships and a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Lead by example in professionalism, punctuality, integrity, communication, and patient-focused leadership. Ensure teams maintain high standards of patient education, service, and care. Utilize a systems-based approach to improve efficiency and scalability across locations. Maintain a thorough understanding of dental office operations to provide effective, real-time coaching and support. Build support and alignment among doctors, office managers, and team members when implementing new initiatives. Take ownership of regional goals and execute initiatives within the assigned area. Remain flexible and adapt quickly to changing business needs, priorities, and organizational dynamics. Approach challenges with strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and creative-thinking skills. Work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with the broader leadership team. Be willing to step in and support teams with operational needs when necessary, regardless of title or responsibility level. Be open to constructive feedback and continuously seek opportunities for personal and organizational improvement.
