Full-Time A skilled nursing facility in Saint Charles, Minnesota is seeking an experienced Business Office Manager to join our administrative team. The Business Office Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business office, including resident accounts, billing and collections, payroll support, and helping ensure compliance with applicable Medicare, Medicaid, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day business office operations, including resident trust accounts and census records Manage billing and claims submission for Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and private pay Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding balances, and lead collection efforts Post payments, reconcile resident accounts, and resolve billing discrepancies Support payroll processing and maintain accurate employee and resident records Assist residents and families with Medicaid applications, pending cases, and financial paperwork Prepare month-end reports and support budget and financial reviews with facility leadership Maintain compliance with federal, state, and company financial policies Coordinate with admissions, nursing, and corporate accounting on admissions and payer changes Supervise business office staff and assist with audits, surveys, and other regulatory reviews as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor degree in business, accounting, or a related field preferred Previous business office experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting strongly preferred Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care billing and reimbursement Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with financial records Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team Professional communication skills when working with residents, families, and payers What We Offer Full-time opportunity Supportive clinical and administrative team Professional and collaborative work environment Opportunities for continued growth and development Competitive compensation and benefits If you are an experienced business office professional looking to join a skilled nursing team where your organization and attention to detail can make an impact, we encourage you to apply.
