Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Practice Manager, where you will lead the operational and administrative functions of a busy medical or practice. This pivotal role combines strategic oversight with hands-on management to ensure smooth daily operations, compliance with healthcare regulations, and exceptional patient care. As a motivated leader, you will oversee staff, manage financial processes, and implement policies that foster an efficient, patient-centered environment. Your expertise will drive the success of our practice while supporting our commitment to delivering outstanding healthcare services. Responsibilities Oversee daily clinic operations, including patient flow, scheduling, and staff coordination to optimize efficiency and patient satisfaction Manage financial aspects such as budgeting, medical billing, accounts receivable/payable, and fiscal management to ensure financial health of the practice Supervise healthcare staff including nurses, administrative support personnel, and clinical teams; facilitate training and performance evaluations Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as
HIPAA, JCAHO
standards, and health policy requirements through rigorous policy implementation and staff education Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems Encompass, Acuity Logic Oversee human resources functions including hiring, onboarding, employee relations, and maintaining a positive work environment Coordinate with healthcare providers on practice management issues such as utilization management, managed care contracts, and clinical workflows Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing patient concerns promptly and ensuring a welcoming clinic atmosphere Implement office management best practices to streamline operations using Microsoft Office tools for reporting and documentation Experience Proven experience in Ophthalmology, Optometry, medical office management or healthcare practice management within a clinical setting Strong supervisory background managing teams in healthcare environments such as clinics or dental offices Extensive knowledge of medical administrative support functions including medical records, billing procedures, and compliance standards like HIPAA Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems such as eClinicalWorks or Eaglesoft; familiarity with dental office software like Dentrix is a plus Demonstrated fiscal management skills including budgeting, financial reporting, and managing practice expenses Background in managing healthcare staff including nurses or clinical personnel with acute or critical care experience preferred Excellent managerial communication skills to lead teams effectively while maintaining high levels of customer service and patient engagement Knowledge of health regulation policies including JCAHO accreditation standards and utilization management practices Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and software tools relevant to healthcare practice management Embark on a rewarding career where your leadership transforms healthcare delivery! $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
