This is a unique position for someone who enjoys working independently, learning new technology, building relationships with dental professionals, and taking ownership of their work. The ideal candidate is comfortable balancing clinical imaging, customer service, case coordination, administrative responsibilities, and office operations. What Makes This Position Unique This is not a traditional dental-assisting position. The 3D Imaging Coordinator / Office Manager plays an important role in supporting referring dental offices through advanced imaging, digital workflows, case coordination, and customer service. The Omaha location operates with a high degree of independence, making this position well suited for someone who enjoys responsibility, variety, and the opportunity to take ownership of an office and its customer relationships. The right candidate does not need to have experience in every aspect of this position before starting. We are looking for someone with a strong dental foundation, good judgment, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability and desire to learn advanced digital workflows.   • Has a minimum of three years of experience as a dental assistant.
  • Has experience assisting with dental implant surgery and a strong working knowledge of dental implantology and surgical procedures.
  • Has their dental radiology certification.
  • Is highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Learns new technology and software quickly.
  • Is comfortable working independently and making day-to-day decisions.
  • Is proactive about addressing issues and seeing them through to resolution.
  • Can manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Communicates professionally and confidently with doctors, staff, and patients.
  • Is comfortable troubleshooting problems and finding solutions.
  • Provides excellent customer service.
  • Is dependable, adaptable, and willing to learn. Primary Responsibilities 3D Imaging & Digital Dentistry
  • Perform CBCT, panoramic, cephalometric, and other dental imaging.
  • Prepare and manage digital cases, documentation, and records.
  • Learn and perform digital implant-planning and surgical-guide workflows using specialized dental software. Case & Customer Coordination
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for referring dental offices and providers.
  • Coordinate appointments, imaging cases, digital files, and case communication from initial request through completion.
  • Proactively communicate case updates, delays, missing information, and other concerns while providing excellent customer service. Office Management, Marketing & Compliance
  • Independently manage the daily operations, scheduling, organization, supplies, records, and administrative needs of the Omaha office.
  • Assist with local marketing, referral relationships, and creation of marketing materials and communications.
  • Maintain required radiation safety, OSHA, HIPAA, and other applicable compliance documentation and procedures.
  • Coordinate with team members at other iMagDent locations and participate in ongoing training as needed. Qualifications Required
  • Minimum of three years of professional experience as a dental assistant, preferably with significant surgical and implant experience.
  • Experience assisting with dental implant surgery.
  • Strong working knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, implantology, surgical procedures, and clinical workflows.
  • Dental radiology certification.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new technology.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities. Preferred
  • CBCT imaging experience.
  • Oral surgery or other specialty dental experience.
  • Implant treatment planning, advanced surgical workflow, or surgical-guide experience.
  • Familiarity with dental imaging or treatment-planning software.
  • Familiarity with DICOM and STL files.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365.
