We are a busy, patient-focused medical practice seeking an experienced Optical Manager to oversee our optical department. This position is ideal for a motivated leader with a strong background in optical sales, customer service, and team management. Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the optical department.
• Provide outstanding customer service and create a positive patient experience.
• Assist patients with frame selection, lens options, and eyewear recommendations.
• Drive optical sales while maintaining a patient-first approach.
• Manage inventory and frame displays.
• Implement strategies to increase sales and efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with office policies and industry standards. Be versed in submitting optical orders of glasses and contact lenses to vision plans such as VSP, Eyemed, and Spectera. Engage regularly with the Doctor to touch base on business needs, associates and patient/customer experience Review optical invoices for accuracy. Qualifications
• 2 years of optical management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Proven success in optical or retail sales.
• Knowledge of ophthalmic lenses, frames, lens enhancements, and vision insurance plans preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Professional, dependable, and customer-service oriented.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and optical management software is a plus.

Pay:

$32.00 - $36.00 per hour
