Job description: Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dental practice to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient care. Duties include managing and leading the team, coordinating the doctor and hygiene schedules, assisting with treatment coordination, overseeing insurance verification and claims processing, managing insurance appeals to maximize claim reimbursement, monitoring accounts receivable, and ensuring the office operates efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service and practice profitability. Must have Front Desk experience in a dental office.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the dental practice. Manage, lead, and support the administrative and clinical team. Assist patients with treatment coordination and scheduling. Oversee insurance verification, claim submission, and payment processing. Monitor outstanding insurance claims and follow up on unpaid claims. Prepare and submit insurance appeals to maximize claim reimbursement. Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim denials and payment discrepancies. Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely collections. Maintain exceptional customer service and address patient concerns professionally. Ensure compliance with office policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Manage office systems and workflows to improve productivity and efficiency.. Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a dental office, with management or leadership experience preferred. Strong knowledge of dental insurance, claims processing, and insurance appeals. Experience with dental practice management software. Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Exceptional communication and customer service skills. Ability to coordinate schedules and optimize office efficiency. Knowledge of dental terminology, treatment planning, and patient coordination. Ability to problem-solve, make decisions, and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
