Job Description

Veterinary Practice Manager Location:
The Village Veterinarian, Chelan, Washington Come Join Our Amazing Team! The Village Vet is looking for a compassionate, eager Veterinary Practice Manager to join our team, help support our clients, and make a difference within veterinary medicine through empathy, and teamwork. At The Village Vet, we believe in providing the best standard of care possible while continuously growing and learning as a team. We are deeply connected to the Chelan community, taking pride in our strong relationships with our clients and their pets. As one of the few hospitals in the area offering both general practice and urgent care medicine, while maintaining our gold-standard patient care, we always come through. As the Practice Manager , you will partner closely with the Medical Director, Regional Manager, and other hospital leadership to oversee hospital performance, manage daily operations, and support continued growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital Maintain ownership of financial performance, including P&L, labor management, and cost control Manage inventory and supply ordering to maintain appropriate cost of goods Oversee scheduling and payroll processes to support both patient care and operational efficiency Lead and develop hospital team members, including coaching and performance management Improve workflows, processes, and client service experience Support implementation of company initiatives, systems, and operational standards Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Maintain a positive, collaborative team culture focused on accountability and engagement
Qualifications:
High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Management, or related field a plus, but not required Some prior leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred (veterinary experience a plus but not required) — we provide full training for the right candidate (1-3 years of experience preferred) Willingness to learn financial fundamentals, including budgeting, labor, and cost control, with support and mentorship provided Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Eagerness to grow into a leadership role, with a proactive, can-do attitude Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
Compensation & Benefits:
