We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Specialist to ensure the accuracy and completeness of patient documentation within our system. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing medical records that have been scanned into our electronic system and comparing them to the original physical documents to confirm accuracy, legibility, and proper indexing.

Responsibilities:

Review scanned medical records and verify they match the corresponding physical documents Identify discrepancies, missing pages, or scanning errorsEnsure all records are legible and correctly categorized in the electronic system Communicate any issues to the appropriate department for correction Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and organizational standards

Qualifications:

Medical Office Experience Covid and Flu Vaccines Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Experience with medical records or health information systems preferred Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly Reliable, thorough, and able to work independently
