Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Medical Records/Central Supply Coordinator to join our skilled nursing facility. This dual-role position is essential to ensuring the accurate management of resident medical records while maintaining adequate medical and nursing supplies to support quality resident care.

Ensure medical records are accurate, complete, confidential, and properly filed. Process admissions, discharges, and transfers related to medical records. Assist with audits and regulatory surveys. Maintain electronic and paper health records as required. Respond to authorized requests for medical records while ensuring HIPAA compliance. Central Supply Order, receive, stock, and distribute medical and nursing supplies throughout the facility. Monitor inventory levels and maintain appropriate stock to prevent shortages. Work with vendors to obtain supplies and resolve order discrepancies. Maintain an organized and clean central supply area. Track supply usage and assist with cost-control initiatives. Ensure equipment and supplies are stored safely and according to facility policies. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in medical records, central supply, or long-term care preferred. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical record management. Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Basic computer proficiency and experience with electronic medical records preferred. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently. Must be dependable, professional, and a team player.
