Responsibilities include managing patient records, processing requests for medical information, and maintaining compliance with HIPAA and company protocols. You will communicate with healthcare providers, patients, and internal staff to retrieve, verify, and submit documentation in a timely manner. Additional duties involve data entry, updating electronic medical record systems, scanning and indexing documents, and assisting with audits and quality assurance initiatives. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly are essential. The ideal candidate is proficient with medical terminology, electronic health record software, and possesses excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
