PointClickCare Medical management Full Job Description Chandler Post Acute is seeking an experienced Medical Records Director to join our team! As the Medical Director, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing all medical aspects of our facility. This position requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of medical practices and regulations. Role & Responsibilities Ensure that all protected health information is safeguarded as required by Company policy and HIPAA. Strong knowledge in ICD-10 Coding to classify diagnoses and inpatient procedures. Ensure that all orders are signed by physicians and dated before updating them in the medical record; daily review of the telephone orders and admit orders for accuracy. Review clinical software for upcoming MDS assessments and care plan reviews; monitor that MDS and assessments (UDA) are completed timely. Point Click Care knowledge. Properly register residents in the necessary medical records, logs and files in the facility including but not limited to, admissions and discharge logs. Confirm that all appropriate transfer and admission paperwork has been completed.
