We are seeking a highly organized and dedicated Medical Records Supervisor to oversee daily operations and staffing. In this role, you will manage scheduling, monitor workflow, and ensure all ROI activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with client policies as well as federal and state regulations. You will also serve as a key liaison between the company and client management, helping to uphold high standards of service, productivity, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily workflow and scheduling for on-site ROI Specialists across multiple client locations Adjust staffing assignments to manage peak volumes, absences, and vacancies Provide coverage for backlogs, illness, vacation, or other leaves as needed Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance of ROI work Support the Area Manager by performing productivity reviews and evaluating employee performance in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and guidance Manage employee schedules and approve bi-weekly payroll, including PTO requests Maintain a positive company image through professional interactions with patients, coworkers, and medical center staff Assist the Area Manager with operational and administrative tasks as needed Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Business Administration, or a related healthcare field preferred (or equivalent experience) Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or management experience Ability to travel as required Working knowledge of HIPAA privacy and information security standards Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
